About Aria

We think running client delivery should be much less fragmented

Aria is built by a small team for agencies, consultancies and other businesses that run on client work. One connected operating picture across delivery, instead of a reconciliation exercise every month.

    Why Aria exists

Sophisticated on the outside, manual on the inside

Service businesses can look remarkably sophisticated to their clients while internally running delivery through disconnected tools, spreadsheets, meetings and manual reconciliation.

The information almost always exists. What is missing is the relationship between it: that a slipping task has a cost, that the person who could help is already committed, that the extra work someone agreed to in a call has quietly changed the margin.

By the time that picture is assembled by hand, the useful decision point has usually passed. Aria exists to keep it assembled.

    Principles

What we are trying to change

These are the rules we hold ourselves to when deciding what Aria should and should not do.

    AI with human control

Aria can interpret, explain and propose. People approve. Supported write actions are presented for approval rather than applied quietly, and anything unsupported is declared rather than implied.

    Facts are calculated

Project figures and financial arithmetic come from structured data through deterministic calculation. Language models explain them; they never invent them. Missing information is stated, not filled in.

    Connected operating data

A delivery system is only useful if a change in one place is understood everywhere it matters — plan, capacity, time, cost and client commitment reading from the same record.

    Useful intervention, not dashboard overload

More charts rarely change an outcome. The goal is to surface the few things that still have options attached, with enough explanation to act on them.

    Built for service businesses

Aria is shaped around client work: scope agreed with someone else, people shared across projects, and margin that moves during delivery rather than at the end of it.

    The team

Built by people who have run this work

"Project management has always been a people job, not a process job."

    — Michael Gold, Founder

After a combined 30+ years helping agencies and consultancies grow, Michael and James built the platform they'd always wished they'd had: one that keeps the changing delivery picture clear, recommends the next move and leaves important decisions with the people accountable for them.

Aria Software Ltd is a UK company, registered in England and Wales. We are a small team and we would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise — it is also why we are unusually easy to talk to.

    Come and pick it apart

The most useful conversations we have are with people who bring a real delivery problem and ask whether Aria would actually have helped.
